Reported by Melissa NorrisThe tabletop tree kit comes with everything you need to make it except for tape or glue and scissors. It includes the tree, 8 favor boxes and ribbon to make ties.
The favor boxes are 8 pre-scored, pre-cut cardstock shapes. You just start by folding all of your score marks, and then assemble. All you have to do is add some glue or tape (I used Terrifically Tacky Tape and it worked great!) down the tab on the right hand side and form your box. Once you have done that just fold the score marks and your bottom and top down and your all set. Just add a cut of ribbon under your top and you are ready to hang your treat container on your tree.
Pros:
- Everything is included but tape and scissors
- Super easy to assemble
- Can be done in under an hour
Cons:
- If you were using them for a party, it might be nice to have more treat containers as 8 isn't very many
- Not super sturdy, might not last more than 1 or 2 Halloweens
The Haunted Tree Decoration Kit can be purchased at your local Michaels store or online at Scrapbooking Warehouse, Scrap Your Trip, and 1-2-3 Stitch and the suggested retail is $12.99.
Over all I think this was just what I needed to add to my table. What do you think?! Let us know!
