Just popping in to remind you all that butterflies for the Butterfly Project are due to us on or before September, 15th 2009. I also have a wonderful gift to share with several lucky participants.Former Craft Critique reporter Jessica Diedrich reached out to us as soon as the Butterfly project idea was posted and wanted to help. She has 3 copies of a beautiful new stamp set she designed to giveaway to our participants.
Please help us thank Jessica by visiting her blog and The Greeting Farm.
We now bring you Jessica Diedrich...

When I saw the Butterfly Project posted on Craft Critique, I couldn't wait to join the cause. Anyone who's been to my blog knows that I LOVE my butterflies, but also, as a close relative of two family members that have been the victims of hate, I knew that this was my call to action.
This all couldn't have happened at a more coincidental time...or shall I say, perhaps it's NOT coincidence, that my first stamp set that I designed, Butterfly Wishes, was released through The Greeting Farm. This stamp set means the world to me and so does this cause.
Therefore, I would love to give a little back to all of you who are so influential in helping to end hate by making such a beautiful tribute to the Holocaust Memorial.
I will be giving away THREE of my new Butterfly Wishes stamp sets throughout the duration of this project in the hopes that we can reach the goal and also because life is always more beautiful when there are butterflies fluttering around in it!
Here is how you can be entered to WIN this set:
Visit THIS post and read about how you can help The Butterfly Project. Then come back to THIS POST to leave a comment with a link to your Project.
I will give away one Butterfly Wishes stamp set on July 20th, August 15th, and September 15th (the deadline for the entries), to any participant who has created and sent in (on their honor) a butterfly to Craft Critique to help reach their goal.
You can leave a link to your project on your blog, SCS, Papercraft Planet, or any public accessible website. Just be sure to leave a comment ON THIS POST with a link to your project to be entered into the drawing.
All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm CST on the day before each drawing.
Good luck and thank you to ALL who participate in this extremely worthy cause.

I love this project!! As soon as I saw the post on July 1st, I knew I was going to get involved. I'm a Stampin' Up demonstrator so have access to a lot of creative people. I included the Butterfly project in my monthly newsletter challenging my customers to make butterflies. I hope to get 100 butterflies to send to the Holocaust Museum in September.
After today's post, I started a thread in the SU Demo section on SCS challenging all of the demos there.
I think the butterfly display will be a beautiful & powerful tribute to all those children who never had a chance to grow up.
I am so glad Craft Critique took the time to care about this program and then extended the giving opportunity to us! My family is going to participate, it is a great challenge. Thank you Craft Critique for all you do, I am very appreciative!
I don't have a link yet as I am planning to have my Special Olympics athletes make butterflies for the project at our Summer Picnic this Sunday. I'll take pictures for my scrapbook and post a link to show! This is such a great idea!

), but if you would like to see, CC you can email me for the link DeborahL591@yahoo.com
Regardless, I'm excited that you are working towards crafting butterflies in the memory of our children who are heros.
Thank you Sarah.

If you go back to day one the story of Terezin Concentration Camp makes more sense. Thanks again for letting me share and thanks to Craft Critique to being a part of this memorial for the children.
I have done a few projects inspired by your original post for the butterfly project:

I do crafts at our annual Oxford Special Olympics Summer Picnic. This year, the athletes, families and friends made butterflies for the Holocaust Museum Butterfly Project. They were made with love and absolutely beautiful!!

What a wonderful reason to create a butterfly. I have completed mine, and am collecting several others over the next few days. When I read about this very worthy cause, I printed out the Craft Critique page, and brought it to school with me. I work at a special Ed school for children with special needs, and it was approved to have them go ahead and work on these butterflies.
I am so excited to finish collecting what the kids have made, so I can send in my butterfly along with theirs.
This world has seen so much hatred, and I agree that it's time to start showing some love! What a better world it would be if we all felt that way.
You can find my butterfly on my blog....Here.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in such a wonderful project for a very deserving cause.
Hugs
Lynda =)
This is such a wonderful project. I am on Danni Bindel's Flutter By Wednesday DT and when it was my turn to set the challenge, I asked everyone to contribute to this project. Here is what I made and will be sending in:
