Like many crafters, I'm not sure what my favorite craft is...polymer? Painting? Embellishing with crystals?? Hmmm. Luckily, I was introduced to a company that has just started distributing in the US- Viva Decor- and Viva has them all!Viva Decor has acrylic paints, fabric paints, specialty paints (ones that mimic terracotta, for example), and other crafty products like Pardo Clay and the Glitzup, a vaccuum-driven hotfix crystal setter (see?? Lots of fun stuff!)
And WHO do I see at the booth, demonstrating polymer clay? None other than clay diva Lisa Pavelka!
Lisa is now officially endorsing Pardo clay, which is made of beeswax and pthalate-free. It's also packaged in a 60% recycled materials container, and she says it's the strongest clay she's ever worked with. Can't wait to try it out myself!
Did I mention the yummy colors? She also showed us her new texture sheets, including this one of a crackle/giraffe pattern....

which makes some super cute patterned clay!

Hmmm... now which one to try first. What do YOU think?
Today's coverage is brought to you by i {heart} papers. Use the code CHACC with your $50 purchase and a free goodie bag of assorted items will be included with your order.

I dont even know where to begin with clay..may have to do some research to figure this out..lol
I love and use clay all the time, but I can't imagine how any could be made out of beeswax and be strong at the same time. Weird, but I'm intrigued.
Really like those texture sheets - very interesting!
This is Christina from Viva Decor and I wanted to thank everyone for their interest in our products. Lisa is a true Gem when it comes to claying around :). It was also nice to meet n greet the CraftCritique.com crew we had lots of fun at the booth. As far as Pardo it will be in all Hobby Lobby Stores and also online at http://www.polyclayplay.com. We are thrilled about all the good feedback on all of our products and we can not wait to get them to you.
