On the second day of the holidays our staff wants to see...
... 2 ATG guns and some embossing powder from ZING.If you have done any paper crafting, or have been reading Craft Critique for a while, you've probably heard of the Scotch ATG Gun. If you haven't, take a look at what we have had to say about it.
Lauren gave this adhesive rave reviews two years ago and people have returned again and again to watch Melissa's video on how to load her ATG Gun. This handy adhesive device has even made several wish list posts each year. One of our reporters said, "now that I have one, I can safely say that I'm never going back."
If you already have an ATG gun let us know what you think of it. If not, you might want to add it to your wish list just like we did.

I have the yellow one, and I don't know what I did before it came into my life!! It's the best investment I ever made! Love it, love it, love it!
I {heart} my ATG 714!! It rocks. I got a GGP (glue glider pro) and don't like it as much. I LOVE the fact I never lose this on my table!! lol!
I had to send mine back to Scotch, but the new one they sent me works beautifully.
One thing to remember is that you can pull the pieces apart at first but the adhesive will become incredibly strong with time.
I also love that there isn't as much waste as with the Glue Glider Pro - the refill is as small as possible.
I totally recommend this product.
I have the 714 and I absolutely love it! I use it on every single piece that I make. It definitely should be on everyone's wish list this Christmas.
i have the red one and i LOVE it. i had some troubles at first but 3M responded quickly and made everything right. i wouldn't be without it, and order refills in bulk!
if you are on the fence about getting one, get off!!
hmmm ... i have heard so much about this adhesive ... my one drawback has been the size of it ... but that seems to be a pro to most!
yes this gun is definitely on my wish list this year - hope Santa listens!
I have the yellow one, and also purchased an adapter for it to be able to use the 1/4" tape...wish it were a bit smaller for my hand. Probably should have the red one instead! It certainly goes a loooooong way...and no wasted plastic cartridge to toss.

I can't imagine cardmaking without my ATG gun - that is a horrifying nigthmare -

I have one and people who see it always say, but it is so big, it must be heavy and I have to say it isnt at all. Since it is on the large size, I almost never ;) lose it! And it NEVER jams or gets gummed up like the smaller glue runners I've tried.
I have the yellow ATG gun and I LOVE it! The adhesive is great and it goes so far, it's very economical, especially for all of the swaps and multiple items that I make, can't say enough great stuff about it!
I just ordered one after I posted on my blog asking others what they used since my glue runners were driving me nuts! Anyway, good to see the review and looking forward to using mine soon.
I was attending a cardmaking class with a friend new to cardmaking. I hauled out my ATG 714. Its now affectionately called my B.A.G. (Bad A** Gun)....its works great!
I love mine too! I had the glue glider pro and was going through refills like crazy! This one is far more economical in the long run and there is less waste. The size is not an issue at all as it is very light. It was a great purchase for me.
love my ATG. I don;t care what others think about it's sizew, it is just right for me!
Yes, it's big enough not to lose and the adhesive holds like crazy. I have never regretted this purchase even though it was pricey to start out with. I use dry adhesive without a care since the replacement reels are inexpensive and huge. One caveat -- this is definitely a right handed gun so if you're really dominantly left handed, the learning curve might be higher than normal. I'm a little ambidexrous so I use it in my right hand and I'm good to go.

Not only do I LOVE my gun (although I might start calling it a BAG because of Debbie's comment) I've talked no fewer than 7 others into getting one by insisting they try mine for just one card. Hmmm, maybe I need to talk to Scoth 3M about being on commission? :^D
I wouldn't trade my ATG guns for anything! Yes, that's right...guns...plural. I keep one with the 1/2 inch tape and one with the 1/4 inch tape. I use a magazine holder to store then so I can just grab them and glue.
I love my ATG! Years ago I learned about this wonderful tool when worked in a frame shop. It's what we used when we covered the back of the custom frames we made with the brown paper backing you often see on frames. I knew I had to have one to use at home. I was wondering when it would start showing up in the craft world.
I don't have an ATG gun, wish I did because those little tape runners keep getting lost in my mess.
i love mine and have used it for 6 years already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wow i would not be without it. i could never get those small tape runners to work and i have never had a problem with this one....
