Hold on to your crochet hooks and knitting needles; there are new yarns hitting the market from some of the big yarn manufacturers.Debbie Stoller, of Stitch Nation fame, has created three lines of natural yarns for Coats & Clark. 'Alpaca Love' is 80% wool, 20% alpaca; 'Bamboo Ewe' is 55% bamboo, 45% wool; and 'Full o' Sheep' is 100% Peruvian wool.

Debbie told us that it was really important to her to create an affordable, natural, widely available yarn. And with an MSRP of $4.99 (and wonderful colors to boot) we'd say she succeeded.Bernat has some new stuff hitting the market. Their Handicrafter Cotton is coming out in some bright, new colors called 'Mod Squad':

Here's an amazing idea: Bernat Baby Jacquard is a self-striping/self-patterning yarn that looks like flowers when it's knitted up:

SO COOL!Bernat's Mosaic is also new; it's 100% acrylic, but twisted like a wool roving yarn. I had it in my hand and was stunned that it was acrylic:
The Bernat releases will be hitting stores in May.Lion Brand's booth is in the running for Cutest Booth Ever. They took their old reliable yarns, like Homespun and Vanna's Choice, and created these amazing life-sized creatures. Life. Sized. They were amazing.

And for you die-hard Fisherman's Wool fans, they're releasing 6 new, natural colors:
We can't wait until we can get our hands on these new releases... what are your thoughts? Leave us a comment and let us know!

I can't wait either! These all sound and look like something I would like to try. Thanks for reporting on them:)
Thanks so much for covering fiber crafts. I'm always hoping more reporters will do reviews of knitting supplies!
These gorgeous yarns are enough to make me start crocheting again and maybe even learning to knot! I have too much to do now; but when they get to the stores, I may not be able to resist.
See I got so excited I couldn't even spell KNIT!
I would KILL for the pattern of that dress for my cousin's daughter! Any ideas where I can get my hands on it? You can e-mail me at xxcountryxxprincessxx@yahoo.com or msg me on fb as the only Margaret Ruth Lowe or ravelry as musicadastar. Thank you if you can help me out! xoxo & Happy Knitting!
