Always a favorite of many paper crafters, when approaching the 2010 summer show booth for Sassafras I was prepared to fall in love with their paper lines, but what I've ended up dreaming about getting my hands on are their embellishments. Take a look and see what I mean.

All the Felties are just adorable:

And these brads are too:

New and coming to stores in August are their In-A-Stitch Blossoms. They have a great homemade feel to them. No one needs to know you didn't customize them yourself right?

The same goes for the Entwined line of embellishments:

So much detail in each little piece.

The Chipboard Stickers are meant to be layered (if you like of course):

The clear stamps are great as well, with images that can be used again and again:

My favorite? These metal Vintage Brooches. They measure about 2" x 2" and are self-adhesive. I also got to handle one, they are very light, not heavy as you might be concerned metal would be, and will work on many projects.

The Paper Whimsies were a big hit with the crowd also. They come in Blossom form (which like the Chipboard Stickers look even better when layered):

And cards:

But of course we can't forget about the paper lines. Even though to me the embellishments were the stars of the booth, together with the paper they will make some very cute projects.

A big standout for paper is the brand new Mix and Mend line.

Not only do the papers have the pattern styles from Sassafras that we love, but the designs are basically already done for you (hooray for time-savers). Just add your own personal touch. I have to admit I'm not really a fan of "photos" of elements on paper, I think they look a little fake. However, I was speechless when I saw how realistic these are. See for yourself:

Everything on that page is part of the paper design, completely flat. Here's a portion of a layout one of their talented designers created using the paper (that she said took literally minutes):

Thanks Sassafras for such great designs. Can you imagine the possibilities of what you can make with all these fun elements at your disposal?
