The
Grand Calibur by
Spellbinders is the latest and greatest in the die-cutting world! With its innovative wider platform for cutting multiple dies, and the brand new
Grand Nestabilities, this machine was made for die-cut lovers!

The Grand Calibur was made specifically to cut and emboss all Spellbinders die templates, and also works on a variety of other dies including Cuttlebug® and Quickutz® dies, along with Cuttlebug® embossing folders and Fiskars® texture plates when used with a spacer plate.

Upon opening your box you’ll find the instructions, plates and handle in the top of the package.

The handle is easily attached by sliding it in place on the silver post on the right-hand side and snapping it into place.

There is a white knob on the front of the machine to engage the rubber base to prevent from sliding while in use. Move the knob to the right to gradually increase the pressure. Now, I may be a wimp, but I found that it became increasingly difficult to lock it into place the further I went.

On both the packaging of the dies and on the sliding tray on the machine it shows instructions for cutting and embossing so you can start right away. No need to read lots of instructions, you’re ready to go as soon as you put your handle on!
One of the complaints I’ve read about on this machine is that when using paper that is 8 1/2" wide, a 1/4" paper edge gets curled up when passing your plate sandwich through the machine. I honestly didn’t have a problem with this as I as working, but if it bothers you or you’d rather not fuss with it, you can always remove your tray. This video from Spellbinders shows you how to remove the tray safely.
One of the things I was most excited about was the large plate size! You can fit numerous smaller dies onto this plate and cut your die-cutting time in half!

I loaded the base plate up with dies from PaperTrey Ink® and two Sizzix Sizzlet® dies. Unfortunately the
Sizzix® dies I used were too large to pass through the machine. I had to reverse the handle to get the sandwich back out and you can see exactly where it failed to cut through; however, I was very pleased with the quality of cuts and the ability to cut several dies in one pass.

I read that you could use Sizzlets®, but after doing some research on the
FAQ page it states you need the W-025 Raspberry Spacer Plate in place of the cutting plate. Unfortunately you can’t cut the large Bigz® dies with the Grand Calibur or emboss with the Sizzix® embossing plates as they’re too large to fit in the machine.
I then moved the dies that were cut out on the Grand Calibur over to my Big Shot Express® to do a side-by-side comparison. All dies fit onto my Big Shot Express® plates, and as a plus all I had to do was push a button to roll these through. That is one of the downsides to the Calibur in my opinion. It takes at least 30 revolutions to get the plates to completely pass to the back side and after working with it a few hours my arm definitely got a work out!

Although I love the quickness and ease of using my Big Shot Express®, I can’t neglect how crisp the cuts are from the Grand Calibur in comparison. Also, since I had several dies on the plate I wasn’t able to get an even pressure and two dies didn’t cut all the way though.

Although this picture may only show a few flaws and you can’t see the small fringes on the edges of the Big Shot die-cuts, I can promise you the difference is clear when viewing them in person.

I recently purchased some dies from PaperTrey Ink® that I was having difficulties with in my Big Shot Express®. I couldn’t find the right stack to get complete cuts and was feeling very frustrated with my purchase. Seeing how well the Grand Calibur cut through those other dies I thought this would be a perfect test of its cutting abilities.

Sure enough each piece cut through perfectly and left no edges. Imagine my excitement and relief!

As you can see each die has issues in my Big Shot Express®. Some areas are cut while others you’d have to actually cut out just to get to the die.

After getting a good idea on what this machine could do I pulled out various items to test and compare to my Big Shot Express®. In the picture below you can see what an incredible difference using the Grand Calibur makes.

When using the Big Shot Express® with the cork I was able to cut out a fairly accurate shape, but it still left much to be desired. The felt didn’t go through at all, and with the balsa wood I had to manually cut it out in one place and had frayed edges from the paper backing.
Next, I thought it might be fun to cut out some shaped Post-Its©! I’ve seen adorably cute shapes in the store but never wanted to pay the outrageous prices for a simple shape. Keeping the top sticky half below the top of the die I lined them up to create the shape.

They came out great and now I have some cute sticky notes to use as I please for a fraction of the cost!

Looking around my craft room I wanted to find more medi to cut with. I grabbed some tissue paper and the largest scallop Grand Nestabilities die to cut out over eight layers at once!

I then tried the same thing with a sewing pattern and the smaller die to create a flower blossom. Start by punching a hole in the center and adding a brad. Crinkle each layer to the center and then smooth them back out to a flower shape.

As a side-by-side comparison you can see the difference from the largest to the smallest scallop die:
EDITOR'S NOTE: How super cute are these flowers?! Kandi had so much fun playing, we had to split her article up into two parts! Stay tuned to see what else Kandi did with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur!

A must have for me would be the large grand calibur scallops and I would use them to make large tissue flowers for my nieces baby shower. But of course, I love them all.
Wow! It would be so great to get all those done at once!
What a terrific review with such great comparison photos! LOVE the tissue flowers!n
It's the scalloped circles for me. Definitely. Thanks for the review.
I've had my Grand Calibur for several weeks now and I love it! Thanks for the review.
Thank you for the review of the Grand Caliber- it was very informative and I loved the ideas I got from all your experiments- way to go! I love the new Dies like the fluer di lis that Spellbinders has come out with and I can't wait to try them!!
Grand Large Labels look fabulous to me to make some great mats for my scrapbook pages. I have been eyeing this machine for awhile now.
I just bought myself the Grand Calibur Machine last week. It is good to see I made the right decision. As for dies, I love te creatieve pages set that I bought with it. I am already thinking about wich set to get next, and I am thinking about the scalloped circles, love the idea of the flowers!!
This article is right in time. I was considering purchasing the Big Shot this weekend. I currently have 4 cricuts. Original, expression, Imagine, and Cake. Also the Cuttlebug. Wanted to invenst in the Big Shot Pro. But after your article I am deinitely reconsidering. I LOVE the Nestabilities. I am wanted to purchase the 3 in one ovals. I love the way you get more bang for the buck with these. The cut, emboss, and template. I want to use in my cards. I have been an avid scrapbooker for years and recently got into cards and LOVE IT! Thanks for the opportunity to win the Spellbinder. Keeping fingers crossed. And thanks again for advise.
must have-book pages and scalloped circles.
Thank you for the opportunity, fabulous and informative review. I am new to nestabilities, but I have a set of them at home.
It is hard to decide which one is my favorite, but if I have to pick, mine are the grand circles and grand big scalloped circles.
I would love to try the tissue flowers using them, also to try them on felt as I work alot with this material.
My friend bought a grand and it is so much to play with that I try to steal it from her all the time. Here is hoping for some more dies!
I currently have the Cuttlebug but I would like to use the Grand Nestabilities like Creative Book Pages.
this is a great review... I LOVE my Grand Calibur! Of the new ones I really want to get the Creative Book Pages for cardmaking!
Wow I think I am in love with this machine, it does so much, and that you can use other dies and folders is great. I think my fave must have die would be the creative book pages.
Thanks for the chance to win.

It is just amazing how versatile this tool is! I like the Grand Scalloped Circles. I would use them to make flowers from paper and fabric!
Right now my "must have" is the Grand Calibur itself. Labels 11 will be at the top of my list once I can get my machine.
I already have the Big Shot Express but only yesterday I ordered the Grand Calibur so that I could use the Grand Nesties. Thanks for your impartial review of both machines.
I love all my Spellbinders dies but I would like to get the Grand Large Labels next to add to my Labels One and Four.
great review i'd love to get any of the label sets. I have a thing for labels lately and love the normal ones I have
Fantabulous, I want this machine!!!
I love my Grand Calibur and already have a few dies. I would love to add the circles to my collection. I also want the labels 1.
I love the Grand Calibur! I don't have any of the circle Nestabilities yet and would love to use them in my scrapbooking projects!! It would be awesome to win them!! Thank you so much for your comparison to the Big Shot, too. Very useful information and very objective! Oh, and thanks for using the different media--I would never think I could put balsa wood in the GC and you reminded me to dig out my cork paper that I love and have a hard time using. You've sparked some great ideas!
That is an awesome review. I have given some thought to purchasing one of these!
Hi There!
Great article!... I love, love, love the Grand Scallop Circles. It's all about "Flower Power", I will tons of flowers for my daughters birthday tea party.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Corina
Good job on the review! I would love to get the grand Labels 1!
Awesome machine. Thank you for the detailed review.
Decisions, decisions! Spellbinders is making it hard on us to make a choice. I have to say the Grand Scalloped Circles would be my first pick. They are so versatile; journaling blocks, oh, and let's not forget the flowers. I've wanted to try some lately and Kandi's creativity has me all fired up!
I am so getting one of these. Thanks for the comparison and the chance to win.
Wow! Great giveaway! I would say my favorite is the: Grand Lables Eleven.
The scalloped squares are what I'm saving up for. I make cards and can think of a dozen ways to use them
Wow, what a machine! I would love the grand labels 4. No maybe labels 1. Come on who's kidding who, I would love them both! I love the regular nesties that I have and use them all the time for print and cut tags. It's so easy to line things up. Thanks for the great review and the chance to win.
I think Labels 4 would be my first choice but I want them all!
I love them all! But creative book pages Is currently a fave!
I adore my Grand Calibur - it wins over any other DueCutting machine I have or have used My 'must have' would be the Grand Labels 1 - divine!! Thanks for the opportunity to win not one but two divine Dies - wahoo! {{{hugs}}}
Have the Calibur and love it! Would love to have Grand Label 4
LOVE all of them. but I like to make flowers. you can use on anything.cards, mini, boxes, and frames
Who am I kidding ... I would get them ALL ... but I will go with Scalloped Ovals for the purposes of this giveaway!
Wow, what a great article so far. I use a cuttlebug with many of the dies shown so far and I am able to cut things quite nicely, though I can't cut that many at one time. That would be a big advantage to me since I use lots of different shapes on just one project.
I love the look of the Creative Book pages. I would love that set to be able to make some mini albums! How fun would that be?!
The GC is an excellent machine and I love the recycled use of the old patterns.
I just got the Grand Calibur and I love it! I also have the regular Big Shot and have had a few problems with dies not being cut all the way through, but the GC does do a better job. I will keep the BS for Sizzix and other dies. I don't have any of the Grand Nesties yet and I really like Grand Labels 4, they would make some lovely cards and other projects.
I did read the FAQ and tried cutting the Sizzlets using the Sizzix Premium Crease Pad, after reading it was the same thickness as their Raspberry Spacer Plate, and it worked fine. Try at your own risk, though, since it is not endorsed by Spellbinders.
Hello, I must say, I own to many machines, cricut, ect... I just love the quickness of just whipping out a nestie to put the finishing touches on my cards. Sometimes it takes too much time to set up the machine and search for a design. Plus it doesn't emboss. Love my spellbinders.
I really want the ovals. I would use them for framing portrait photos and for cards. This is a terrific blog! Thank you!
I love the scallop circles. It is amazing how well the Grand Calibur cuts out the shapes with such precision
I haven't bought one yet, but with each review I love the GC more and more. So far, I'm loving the Book Pages and would be making a lot of altered books for friends and family!
wow, love these dies! i think the large grand caliber scallops and would love to make flowers!
hmmm. such decisions. I like them all but the first one I'd get would be Labels one. I saw a box made out of them on amazingpapergrace.com that I would like to attempt make.
I've heard pro and cons about he GC, I think I need to give it a try for myself. It sounds amazing!
I have the Grand Calibur and I LOVE it!! I only have 2 of the grand dies and I so want the scallopped circles to make cards with. This is such a great machine, and the option to put many dies on the plate is wonderful.
I have the Labels One (which was my first must have for shaped cards & scrapbook pages). My next one is one of the circle sets!! Thanks for the chance to win - great review :)
I just received the Grand in the Mail and I'm so excited to use the large format dies with it. Thank you so much for the post today
Erika T
Ive been considering this one but haven't given in yet. My fav has to be the creative book pages. I would love it for mini albums.
Esigmon at cox dot net
I love the labels eleven and four. They would be great to make cards with.
love the scalloped circles!!! thanks for the chance!
I am eyeing for Grand Labels One on the Ebay for sometime. I will use it to make some post-it-note box cover as gift to teachers.
I would love to have Grand Labels 4, I've the originals and love to make 1/2 folded cards and frames.
Love the info in your post. Thanks for the step by step. Your flowers are adorable. Thanks
i'd go for Grand labels eleven. i wish the machine could cut all dies, the way my Wizard does now. i'm anxious to get a GC tho.
I love them all, however the new ones like Parisian accents blow me away
my pick of the new Grand dies has to be the creative book pages. however I would love to win the two die sets offered in this contest
Thanks so much for this review. I would pick Labels One as my first choice.
I can't decide which one is a "must have" - I want them all! Okay, I guess I'll say Grand Labels Eleven. No, Grand Labels One. No, Eleven. Okay, Four. :)
Good Morning!
All the comments were most helpful and answered all my questions. I would most like the Grand Scalloped Circles. Why? For flowers, flowers and more flowers! Thanks for EVERYTHING!
DonnaB
Label one for sure! I have the original size and love that die set:)
Loved the review. Just recently was able to get the Grand Calibur and love it. I have the Labels 4 set and absolutely love it, being able to make beautiful "shaped" cards is great. My next "have to have" set is the Labels 1. While I would never give up my Cuttlebug, the Grand Calibur is a great addition to my crafting "must have" tools.
Love that you compared them side by side. The GC might just hit my "need" list. I am making sewing pattern flowers for sure within the next few days.
I have a GC and think it's great. You are right about the suction - it really works!
I would love the Creative book pages - I have the large labels dies and it's great to have the whole set from the smallest upwards.
Another favourite is the wonky rectangles - they are so so useful - love 'em.
My next set on the wishlist is the foliage. :) Well the wishlist is very, very long.
Great review and smashing flowers.
Edna
Oh my, I just love all my dies and of the new big ones, a must have, must be the new bookpages, that is definately a must have for me, and I´ll use them to make books and albums and I also have a fewa ideas for cards, that would be pretty coll made with these.
Thanks sooo much for the chance to win these awesome sets here, which I definately would love too he he.
Thanks for the great review. I've been eyeing the Grand Calibur since my Cuttlebug won't cut the larger dies. My favorite Grand is Labels 1.
Thank you for the wonderful review, it is very helpful. I would love to have Labels one. Thank you for the chance to win.
How can I pick one...this a great machine. I have been trying to save up for it. I would use for my cards and mixed media art projects.. Thanks for this giveaway
It would be either the scalloped circles or scalloped squares. I've got the Grand Caliber and LOVE IT!!! I don't yet have the raspberry spacer, but intend on acquiring that too for the embossing folders. I've found that I get much better results with the intricate dies on the Grand Caliber as opposed to my Cuttlebug which had spotty results.
Brenda vegas2694@aol.com
I've only had my Big Shot Express for a couple of weeks. So far I'm loving it, but then again, have only been cutting cs and vellum. This review now has me eyeing the Grand Calibur for other stuff. Would like to add the Grand Large Labels to my growing collection of Nesties.
very cool - wish it could take the steel run dies!
Sandra ltb
Great review! My must have would be the Scalloped Circles, for creating beautiful blossoms!
Love the grand calibur!
I would love to win some of your dies. I have some of them I would love to have the Butterflys or the Rose dies. I love them all thanks for a chance to win. I need to get the Grand Calibur but it will have to come later. I use my Big kick I also would love to have the new grand dies. thanks
I've had my Grand Caliber since Christmas and I love it!! Since I started using it, I have disposed of my Epic, Cuttlebug and my old Zippy Mate! Now, one machine does it all!
diannepb
I absolutely love my Grand Calibur and can't say enough about it. I really appreciated reading the comparison article, very helpful. Haven't tried the tissue flowers yet but will do. Good luck everyone!
Great review. It's now on my wish list. My poor Big Shot... :)
I love my Caliber. I have all the large dies, can't wait for more.
Great demo and thanks for the opportunity to win one.
Amazing machine..I haveone nestie flower dies so far ,keeping finding new ideas from grungeboard bag charms , shrink plastic jewellery, cards making ,making embosing folders..
Im going to have to be oooh so good this year in the hope that santa will slip some dies in my stocking, Goodness knows what I would have to do to get a grand Calibur..How many sleeps till xmas ?
I like the scalloped ovals. They'd be great for making cards!
Great tutorial!!! Thanks for sharing! I have wondered what the difference between all the die cuts were and this is the only one I hadn't seen review for. I like how big it is!! I really like all the different lable dies...I would definately use those as little title or narrative sections on my scrapbook pages. :)

Wow! Thanks for the side by side comparisons. I am loving those tissue paper flowers and the shaped post it notes! Wooo hooo
The new die that I just can't live without is:
Grand Labels Four
Fantastic article, Kandi! Love the tissue paper flowers.
What a wonderful giveaway! I have wanted nesties for so long but don't have any yet! The Grand Big Scalloped Circles would be so lovely!
Wonderful article. I love the nestabilites. I would have to choose Grande large labels as my favorite.
Love the labels!
Would look great as jurnaling spots on layouts or used on cards
Love it! would love to have Grand Labels One. Would make a mini album.
Wow, thanks for the comparison, I really enjoyed the article! I think the Grand Nestabilities must have set would have to be the Grand Labels Four because it would coordinate with smaller sets I already have, and I could do cool card shapes with it! Thanks for the chance at winning!
Great review. I was looking at getting one of the new machines and with your review it makes picking a new one easier. I do have a lot of the small nestablities and look forward to getting some of the new Grand ones. The one that I would like the most is the Grand Big Scalloped Circles. I would like to use that with my small Scalloped Circles to make bigger flowers for my pages.
Thank you so much for doing such detailed testing.
This is an awesome critique. Thanks for sharing with us.I have some spellbinders dies, but I don't have the grand caliber, I have been thinking about purchasing one.
Thanks for the great review! I loved the comparison with the Big Shot.
My favorites are the Grand Scalloped Circles!
Grand Labels Four. I have the regular label 4 and use it ALL the time in cards and layouts. To have it even bigger would be fantastic!
I just used my GC for 1st time Sunday...really loved it. I used it to cut Cork sheet...it cuts like butter. Love that I can cut several dies at once ..it saves time & its easy one my hands too!!
I got the Creative Pages only for now...Grand Label Four is a must have for me.
It will be great for making gift bags & home decor projects!
Thanks for the review.
This really looks like a great machine.
LOVE that you can fit more than one die on the mat at once! My must have set would be the large scalloped circle - perfect for circle cards!! Thanks for the chance to win.
I think my first set would be the big scalloped circles.... I love making circle cards and would love to make them bigger than I can with the regular sized nesties!
I really like to use multiple mattes under card messages. I have several of the smaller labels and mix and match them all the time, having larger shapes would allow even more versatility. I also see larger labels allowing the ability to create other things such as the flower shaped booklet or backgrounds by folding the labels. I'd like to try the dies with foils and fabric. My favorite is the Grand Labels Eleven.
Love the review. Proof is in the pudding so to speak seeing the different media cut out shows how well the GC does. I love all the spellbinder dies. Labels and now the larger ones. I think the book die is awesome!! Thanks for sharing.
Love your review. The grand caliber has been on my bucket list.
Love the review! My favorite set is Labels 4. Thanks for the chance!
Thank you for the comparison of the Grand Calibur! I love mine. I only own one set of the dies, which is the Grand Scallop Squares. My next purchase would be the Grand Circles. I love how you showed how you can make a circle card so that's what I would do,when I purchase my next set!
Loved your review! Beautiful flowers.
Love the scalloped circle dies. I use them to cut assorted tissue paper for my collage paintings.
I've seen projects made with Grand Nestabilities, and I love the shapes cards. I think my must-have would be the oval and oval scallops... then the other shapes! :o)
oo...aahhhh...I love everything spellbinders! All the new grand calibur dies are awesome!
i would love to work with the scallop circles. they seem to be the most basic shape. i would layer these and other shapes to start the bottom layer of a card.
Spellbinders products rock. Need them all
I would totally get the Grand Square Scallops and cut two felts and make a goodie bag. That will be awesome!!!
I love th creative book pages, so much fun! I would make scrapbooks. Hope it would cut thru chipboard.....
I would love to have a GRAND CALIBUR...love the paper flowers
great project....I am going to have to make some....TFS
would love to have the scalloped
circles
Linda
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Grand Calibur!!!! I bought my "must have" dies.....the Creative book pages. Now, I am trying to decide on what to purchase next. All the dies are so delicious!! It is hard to pick just one.
Wow! I'm loving all the neat things you've shown so far and it's pretty telling when you go to the link and most everything is out of stock. It must mean that all the dies are "to-die-for." LOL! I'm really loving the flowers so I'd have to go with the scalloped die. Love the labels ones too. Way too many to pick just one. Flowers, backgrounds, I think the skies the limit on this one. Thanks for the chance to win!
Love this machine and these dies - makes life making cards so much easier - thanks for opportunity to win -
Mary-Jane
I do not own one of these amazing machines but if I did I would love the grand circles. I would use them to create cards and scrapbook pages.
I love the Grand nestabilities Labels one and the Scalloped Circles. Please enter me in the Giveaway.
I'd love to have the labels 1 grand nesties! My favorite shape ever. I use the regular sized Labels 1 dies all the time and I can't wait to get the labels 1 large dies.
These are just too cool!!definitely want to get some and play with them!!
It may sound boring, but I want the oval dies. I have a couple of heritage albums to do, and those dies are perfect for cutting and framing old photos. If someone would send me free dies, then I could justify purchasing a Grand Calibur. It has been on my next new tool wish list since the day it came out!
I love my grand calibur. The ease of turning the crank and the fact that you can do so many dies at once is a big plus for me. Now I just need to win these grand labels.
stamping on...
Love the large scallop circle. Anything that makes beautiful flowers is on my list these days.
I LOVE my Grand Calibur! I've just recently got it to replace my cuttlebug and am soo impressed with it.
Some of the new dies I'm after are the Creative Book Pages and some of the lables too:)
Thanks for the chance to win these
Good luck everyone

Trying again!!!
I am a huge fan of the Grand Calibur and bought mine earlier this year! I think it's been one of my very BEST craft purchases and I use it every day!
I love having the large space to cut multiple shapes a thte same time and I totally LOVE the Grand Nesties!
I hope Spellbinders will continue to add more ! The ROCK!!
Great Article and great tips!!
My favorite set to date are the Grand Labels four and I love to use them to make my own card bases!
This is a great review and I am happy there will be more coming! I find this very helpful when making my purchases...in a good way!!! :)
Thank you!
Teresa
Thanks for a thorough review. The GC is a major investment, so it was great to see actual examples of finished cuts. My die set of choice would be Grand Labels Four for card bases as well as more traditional label uses.
I love the idea of being able to cut so many dies at one time. I've always wanted a Grand Calibur!
What a great article! I have been looking at the GC and this article has pretty much made up my mind! The fact that I am always wishing for bigger dies makes this perfect! And the honesty of the article was terrific! Not going in with my eyes closed now, for sure! Go, Spellbinders!
Enjoyed reading your honest review of the Grand Calibur -- nice to know some of the drawbacks as well as the pros. My favorite grand die would be the Grand Large Labels -- just love the shape and it would coordinate with the two smaller sizes I already own.
I'd have to have the classic Grand Circles -- so many things to make!
Definitely Grand labels 1 - all their dies are great and I am slowly building up my collection

Creative Book pages looks like my very favorite---I would love to use them to make books for my grandchildren. What an awesome tutorial. I can see a Grand Calibur is in my future.
Goodness...I would need to get my hands on the scallops. I love those flowers you made with the tissue paper!! So stinkin cute!!
Thanks for the informative review. I'm now starting to think more seriously about geting one now. My must have would be Creative Book Pages. It'd be great for making banners and cards in a larger format for those bigger special occasions.
It wouldn't matter to me I love all & would use it all the time.
Grand Labels One is my fave. I love the Labels One set and am thrilled that I can make larger cards now with the Grands.
The Grand Scallop circles and the Labels One are MUST-haves for me! Can't wait until I have saved enough to get these!
The very top of my list would be Creative Book Pages set! I love making books! I would be thrilled to have any of them though! What an awesome giveaway! Thanks for a chance to win!
this is my first die cut machine ever and it is heavenly!!!SO user friendly!! Love the large plate size for lots of cutting, etc. I only have a few dies so far but I'm saving as much as I can for more-my fave so far is the Grand Labels 1-they make THE BEST shaped cards!!
I have a Grand Calibur "Nellie" is what I call it, and I love it. I have the Grand Labels One and Four. I would love to have the large scalloped circles and ovals. I would use them to make shaped cards, and frames for scrapbooking. Thanks for the chance to win.
Thanks for the review. It was a big help! Hmmmm, to pick one....I would say to start it would be labels 4...that's my go to die on the smaller size. I would make shaped cards and boxes
Thanks for all of the good info from both articles!! I don't have a Grand Calibur, but if I did, I would definitely want to have the Grand Big Scalloped Ovals!
I would use them in making my cards, it would give me so much more versatility!! Thanks for the chance to win!!!

Kandi:
Your reviews are always so informative and interesting. You do such a great job. I like the Grand Scalloped Circles.
I do not have the Grand Calibur yet but it is on my list, I do have the Wizard and love Spellbinders products. Thanks so much....
I have a Grand Calibur (still in the box) I would love to have Grand scallop circles. Those tissue flowers you made are super cute! I would make some of those!
xdebrax@yahoo.com
As soon as I heard about the Grand Calibur,
I knew that I wanted one. I have my Cuttlebug that is old and I am thinking of getting a new machine and the GC looks like the one I would want to get. I have lots of Nesties and I love the idea of being able to die cut different sizes and dies at the same time. As far as my favorites...I would say the beaded ovals, the lacey squares and labels 14 and.........
Have been seriously considering a Grand Calibur. I guess if I win the dies, the decision will be made for me! Thanks for the chance to win
I would have a blast with the Grand Large Lables One. I use the original set regularly in card making with my QK revolution cutter - and the Grand Calibur would just be such an upgrade!
I think the two you are giving away would be at the top of my list, I love circles. I would use them to make large areas for journaling. Great giveaway!
I love the Grand Calibur!! I would love to be able to cut the bigger nesties.. The flowers are adorable!
I'm sure my wife would love to use the scalloped circles. Thanks for your informative review!
I must have all of them! But if I must choose one it would be the Grand Labels Eleven! Thanks for all the info.
I really want the Labels 4 and 10. Would love to make card bases out to them! I almost bought a Grand Caliber the other day but wanted more info first so thank you for doing this review.
Thank you for the review. I love all the nesties!! so useful
I love my Grand Calibur! and thank you, Kandi, for the new ideas using the Calibur and dies.
I have my eye on the Grand Squares and Scalloped Squares
Nice review! I love my Big Shot, and I've successfully cut all the materials you tried, and I very rarely have the need to cut several shapes at one time. I've been told by many "friends" that I still NEED the Grand Calibur, though, and until now I've resisted. HOWEVER, the thought of cutting shaped cards is quite intriguing. The largest of the "regular" Nestabilities isn't big enough for a card, so, well, yeah, I guess I NEED the Grand Calibur, don't I? :)
I'd start with either round or scalloped squares. :) Thanks for the chance to win!
Love the review. I love the Grands Labels One and Four. I have about wore them out doing stuff for weddings. Pick me please :))))))
the scallops are my fav. I would love to make tissue paper flowers!!!
I have the wizard and the Big Shot Express. I have been thinking about the Grand Calibur. Thanks for the review. I do love the newer bigger nestabiolities especially the wonky squares.

I really want the GC labels 11. I would love to make a mini album out of them by binding the edges with my BIA :) How cute would that be. Thanks for the review of the GC, it is a great machine. I am glad to know you had no problems cutting balsa wood. Have not tried that yet, now I will.
I am going to have to have one, I even like the color!!

I so want the Grand Big Scalloped Circles! They are a must on my wish list! Cards and LOs are my two things I love to make!

I would want to use the oval scallops to make cards and probably the scallop circles for cards and flowers. Your experiments look like so much fun.

with all the bigger dies it is inevitable that I will need to get another machine-got to cut back on gas I guess lol
I love the Labels 11 & 4, the Large Labels (good for masculine cards!!), and the Big Scalloped Ovals! Wow!! I obviously found it hard to pick just one set I liked!! LOL! I would use these dies to make frames for the main pictures or sentiments on my cards, or to make flowers from the scalloped oval dies!
I've been thinking on this...I love the size and how you can do several small dies at once...thinking it would work great for the heartfelt creations die by spellbinders....
Great review. I think Grand Labels One is a must have. Since I have the regular version I could use them to make more layers together.
I have the Grand Caliber and love it - it really is a great machine! Labels 1 is a must have!
hugs,
Gini
I have a Big Shot and have been trying to decide if the Grand was worth having as well. It seems they both have their pros and cons yet compliment each other!
Thanks for extensive posting.

I want the Grand scalloped ovals and the Grands Lables to make shaped cards. I love shaped cards . Thanks for the chance to win
If I was fortunate enough to own one of these machines, I'd have to get those large scallops now that I've seen the gorgeous flowers you can make with them! TFS!
Great review and I loved how you showed the results side by side! I recently got the Grand Calibur and it really is wonderful to use. I'd really like a set of the Grand Big Scalloped Ovals because they'd be great for scrapbook layouts!
The grand labels 1 would be my must have! These Grands are a must have I cant wait to get my hands on a few!
This machine is definitely on my wishlist! I have an old Wizard right now which still works great BUT I can't use it for the new Grand size dies. I want all the Grand dies, but I would have to say that Grand Labels One is the first on my list to get. Thanks for the chance to win a fab prize. :D
I love that you can cut so many dies at once...great timesaver. It's so much fun to use all the Spellbinders' products and have a ton of my own.

Great critque of the Grand Calibur machine. I was especially impressed with your side by side comparisons using a different machine along with the GC. Thanks so much. It was helpful.
I love this comparison. I needed to know which machine to purchase, now my mind is made up. Thank you.
I think my favorite is the book pages. I have a granddaughter who loves little books to write in, so would make several for her and for friends. Love them all!!! Second would be the circles to make flowers.
I really want some of the grand labels (LOVE Labels 11, Large Labels and Creative Book Pages)-great for scrapbook LOs, cards (just score the really BIG cut outs in half!) and for custom envelopes and albums. Spellbinders are FABULOUS - I would LOVE to win some of the Grands! :)
I had to save for the grand calibur, but finally made it and got it a month ago..Being retired I have really want something..I have a few oft he regular dies that I got when I got my spellbinder when it came out..And my favorite is the "Grand Big Scalloped Circless". And good luck to all..
I love the Grand Calibur. And my favourite dies are the Labels One and Labels 4
I love my Grand Calibur ;D.
As for the must have Grand Dies......I think a must have is the Grand Circles. They are perfect for those round cards. The original circles are a tad small, so I would go with Grand Circles for sure! Thanks for a chance to win!! The review by Kandi was awesome, loved the comparison! Hugs, Sabrina
I love the Grand Calibur first you can cut a lot of shapes with one pass
I love the book set I can see making a flip book or I would make a small book with pictures to give as a gift sort of like a tiny scrapbook
just love spellbinders and these are the best
have a comment I saw that AC Moore carries the grand calibur but that is it no replacement mats or dies to go with it I never understand that it means that when you want a die or need a replacement you have to buy on line why doesnt the stores carry all that goes with it??
still love them
Hugs

What an awesome machine. To be able to do so much at one time. Love it. I really like the labels.
I actually got the GC for my birthday along with the 2 grand dies tgat I wanted the most (labels 4and 8) I saw some tutorials on some really cute boxes and gift bags with these and wanted to make them myself (plus these are my most used smaller spellbinder dies next to my circles and ovals so thought I couldn't go wrong). I love my GC!! I also though am a little disappointed it won't cut the big sizzle dies as I have quite a few so thus means I have no choice but hang onto my other die cut machine for these taking up precious space in my craft room. Ah well, the ease of my GC and the speed it adds when cutting multiple dies for a project is totally worth it!!!
What a great breakdown of the functionality and i now have a new must have tool!!!
OHHHH! I LOVE all these dies--I want them ALL! I would love to have the Grand Large or Scalloped Squares...or just any old circle or oval! LOVE it all:) THANKS for the chance to win!

I would love to own a Grand Calibur! Guess if I win some Grand Nestibilities, I'll have to buy one! Thanks for the opportunity.
I have been trying to decide if I really NEED the Grand Calibur but after seeing this I think you've just made up my mind. I LOVE all my Nesties but if I buy the Grand I would LOVE to get Labels 4 & 11 as those make the cutest card bases.
Thanks so much fro the chance to win,
Janie
I have only had my Grand Calibur for a short time, but love it.
I would love to have the Grand Big
Scalloped Ovals. I am starting a
