Some companies never fail to impress in the design department. October Afternoon consistently comes out with cheerful designs that are perfect for the vintage lover (like me).
Printed with soy based inks on 65 lb. weight card-stock, their cardstock is both acid- and lignin-free. We especially love their 8″ card-stock packs, miscellany packs and new “little flyers.” The owners also challenged us when we told them that we don’t review paper… they claim their products would beat any paper in a blind test! Hmmm… maybe we will have to put that on our to-do list. I will say from personal experience that their rub-ons are like butter.
Now the new lines…
Sidewalks: Just around the corner there’s a sidewalk where the neighborhood kids play. Games of hopscotch, kickball and jump-rope elicit laughter that can be heard from blocks away!
Farmhouse: There are very few places where more treasures can be found than the old house on Grandma and Grandpa’s farm. The trunk in the attic contains reminders of our heritage: old newspaper clippings and other heirlooms passed down from one generation to the next.
Sasparilla: Howdy Pard’ner! Welcome to the wild west where the sun is always shinning, the air is always fresh, and the animals run free. The cowboys and cowgirls roam on horseback, and cook dinner, and sing songs around the campfire.
Boarding Pass: by plane, by train or by automobile; by land, air or sea, we love to travel! across the country or around the globe, a trip of any distance is sure to be an exciting experience.
So what do you think? Will you be snatching up these lines when they arrive at your local scrapbooking store?
