At CHA’s Create-n-Connect show in Las Vegas, American Crafts introduced several new lines including new ones from Amy Tangerine and Elizabeth Kartchner called “Cut & Paste” and “Polka Dot Party”, respectively.
The “Cut & Paste” line from Amy Tangerine impressed me with new embroidery stencil kit designs – Hello (with fun shapes) and Right Now (with lowercase and uppercase alpha).
Some other great products in this line are Wood Veneer Cards, specialty die cut paper (there are two designs – File & Fold and Love Letters), the all new die cut tags with punched icons and words which can be embroidered, left as is or even used as a template/stencil.
The “Polka Dot Party” line from Elizabeth Kartchner was a huge hit as well!
I was happy to see new types of products added to the collection, such as wooden rubber stamps and wooden die cut pieces.
Unfortunately the two patterned brayers (you can see prototype images of those on the photo above on the left) that the company originally had in the line’s catalog did not make it to the show and won’t be a part of this line. However there are plenty of other fun products in the “Polka Dot Party” collection to satisfy our paper crafting needs!
The new Christmas collection from American Crafts this year is called “Peppermint Express”. Among the usual products, the collection also features new intricate wooden embellishments wrapped in decorative gold thread and also a set of Christmas Bingo cards.
Paper lines were not the only new items introduced by American Crafts. The new bright-colored punches also attracted lots of attention. There are several fun designs to choose from, and some come in several different sizes too!
