Colorful Plastic Storage with Duck Tape!

My craft room is in a process of change right now, to accommodate some old interests I’ve been spending more time on lately (like sewing) and some new ones (like knitting and jewelry).

I had an open space under the window that could take a new storage unit. I needed storage space for fabric and yarn. I found a unit the perfect size and configuration for my needs at my local Walmart – a 5 drawer Sterilite drawer unit.


The two flat drawers on top are perfect for my thread and beading supplies, while the bottom larger drawers would be perfect for items like fabric and yarn. Continue Reading →

Review | Duck Prism Adhesive Crafting Sheets

The Duck Prism Sheets (Swirl pattern) were a creative challenge that I was excited to try out. I didn’t have a project in mind when I started, but wanted to see what these metallic, adhesive sheets were capable of.Duck Prism Crafting SheetsI had seen Duck brand tape sheets in the craft stores, but these are different than the standard Duck Tape material.  They are thin and metallic, similar to a mylar ballon. CHA Mega Show 2014 | Shur Tech Duck Tape

This year Shur Tech (the company that makes Duck Tape)  brought their 31-foot bright green Duck bus to the CHA Mega Show 2014!  This bus travels all over the United States showing folks the many different ways Duck tape can be utilized with their crafting ideas and home decor designs.
