One of the most innovative stamp companies to emerge onto the crafting scene this last year has got to be Unity Stamp Co..

I first saw their unique mounting system for rubber stamps at the Craft and Hobby Association show in Anaheim, California in 2008. I have never been a fan of wood-mounted rubber stamps simply because they take up a lot of storage space and they cost noticeably more than their acrylic counterparts. But Unity Stamp Co. has devised a unique mounting system that not only helps you to save on storage space, you can use these ‘handles’ with your acrylic stamps as well.

The handles come in 4 different sizes and are made to fit perfectly with Unity’s wooden cassette stamps. Match the letter on the handle to the letter on the stamp, slide the cassette into the handle and stamp. You can turn the handles over and use them with your acrylic stamps as well.

Unity Stamp Co.’s range of stamps include the cassette-mounted stamps as well as unmounted rubber stamps. They have released an extensive range of images over the year, and there are singles as well as sets to choose from. There are new releases almost every week, and Unity stamps cater to all paper crafters: from cardmakers to scrapbookers.

  • Unique, space-saving mounting system
  • Stamp handles that can be used with all other unmounted rubber and acrylic stamps
  • Deeply-etched stamps for cardmakers and scrapbookers

  • Not as extensively available in brick and mortar or online stores since they are still a relatively new company

You can buy Unity Stamp Co.’s mounting system and stamps from their online store at

In conclusion, I have preferred red rubber stamps since I’ve started using Unity. The stamped images are much clearer than images from acrylic stamps, and I haven’t had to think of how to store wood-mounted stamps.

Have you tried Unity yet? Let us know what you think!

I am in love with Unity Stamps! One of their best deals is the Kit of the Month Club. It comes packed with a large amount of unmounted rubber stamps, each kit with a theme, for an amazing value.

One of my favorite things about Unity is the SIZE of the stamps. For the most part, a lot of the stamps I’ve bought in the past are the perfect size for card making, but put it on a layout and it gets dwarfed by everything else. It’s very difficult to find stamps that are scaled for scrapbooking, but they have a large assortment of stamps that are perfect! They’re much larger than many other stamps you find on the market, but they still have an incredible amount of detail and they ink up wonderfully.

The wooden slides is a new concept and I love how they don’t require the handles to use them at all. They can be used as is or with the handle.

Can you tell I’m a big fan? And I only found out about this company a few months ago!

I have loved Unity for almost a whole year!! Love the quality of the red rubber and the handle system is the most ingenious thing I have ever seen for the crafting/stamping world!! Unity goes beyond quality of stamps too, they are people of integrity, kindness and that exudes through their customer service which goes beyond a company, they are a family!!! I love Unity!! The kit of the month is the best!!

    Hi, Anne-Marie!
Unity doesn’t seem to be my style, but I did win a stamp by them and I love it! It’s great for LOs, rather big, but I have used it on cards too. I love how it stamps and how it’s clingy and not sticky on the back. I don’t like sticky, like See-D’s/Inque Boutique.
I agree, the rubber stamps more crisp than acrylic, usually depending on the company, ink, and paper used.

I came across Unity stamps back in October of 2008 and have been in love ever since. The quality is fabulous, they are deeply etched red rubber, the size is wonderful and the designs themselves are fantastic! Unity carries everything from cute to artsy and everything in between. Perfect for cards, scrapbooks and altered art. Their customer service is beyond fabulous and their Kit of the Month is the best deal around. Unity offers everything I want in a stamp company and I highly recommend them!!

I love Unity stamps and one of the things that sets them apart I think is that they are truly devoted to their customers..always there listening, asking for feedback, and they offer wonderful incentives each week thru their hip hop chats and challenges and have some kind of sale on each week. Their shipping is fast and very reasonable…even to those of us in Canada… 5 bucks an can’t beat that. The quality is amazing too and the variety is great. Its hard to find good companies with great product that really demonstrate integrity, generosity and a love for the craft, but Unity scores A++++ on all counts.

My DIL saw the Unity grand opening announcement on SplitCoast a year ago and the rest is history for both of us! I’ve been stamping for 20 years and have never accumulated so many stamps in so short a time. I can’t seem to get enough of Unity stamps. The acrylic handles are not just for the wood slides. I use them for the unmounted red rubber and for my acrylic stamps, too. I will echo the sentiments already expressed about the customer service. They are top notch. I emailed a question on a Saturday night expecting I wouldn’t get a reply until Monday. About 30 minutes later I had an answer from Angela, the owner! The “con” mentioned is certainly minimal in my opinion. Online shopping is easy, the specials each week have caused me to put a STOP sign on my computer (so I will stop and think first), and delivery time is short. Unity is a wonderful company with whom to do business, and they offer a high quality product. This is the longest blog post I’ve ever made. 🙂

Hi. I found Unity earlier this year… I would wander over to the blog and look around, admire the design teams work, always yearning to try the stamps myself, but never took the plunge.. that was until April. I hadn’t been to the site in a week and was catching up on posts and I saw a give away by Angela.. she was giving away a stamp to a few of her followers and I was one of the lucky winners.. I was so excited… I couldn’t wait to get it… then, a day later, Hip Hop rolled around and the sale just lured me in.. I ordered about 5 more stamps, including the KOTM.. They are all the wonderful things everyone has been saying.. and then some.. great stamps, service, designs, sales, and I could go on.. I’m patiently waiting to get my May KOTM.. they did not disappoint. it is as cute as can be.. =)

I have taken a look a couple of times at the Unity website, though I have not yet purchased. I would like to know a little bit more about the mounts.
Way to go on your first report Anne Marie! You did a great job! I definitely will have to take a closer look at this stamp company, specially since they are big enough for layouts.

I am so addicted to these stamps. I just found them in March and have lots and lots of them. I joined the kit of the month, it is a great deal and the stamps are so cool. Angela is the sweetest and has the best sales. I love following the blog everyday. The stamps are made of great quality, they are at good prices and they are some really great designs.

I LOVE Unity Stamps. I haunt the online site and am lucky that one of my LSSes has begun to carry small amounts of Unity too. I’m seriously looking into the Kits of the Month for the value too. I love the variety of sizes for sentiments and images, which could work for cards as well as scrapbooking layouts.

I bought my first and last Unity stamp. I love the stamp, but it was cheaply mounted on 3/16ths plywood, not a standard wood block. It was difficult to use and was even mounted upside down. Cutting corners on the mounting block seems a cheezy way to cut corners, and to me, indicates the company’s attitude towards quality.
